Max Nagl (Austria - exploring Singapore)


Max Nagl   Max Nagl has played at many Jazzfestivals in Europe with his own projects and bands.
He has also toured in USA, Taiwan, Australia and North Africa.

  He has worked for Theatre, Dance Performances, Radio Plays and chamber ensembles.
In June 2004 his children´s opera „Felix oder die Geschichte von einem, der auszog, das Gruseln zu lernen" premiered at the Volksoper Wien and in April 2005 his operetta „Der 7. Himmel in Vierteln“ was performed at Museumsquartier Wien and July 2005 at Bregenzer Festspiele.
The children opera „Camilo Chamäleon“ had it´s premiere February 2011 at Semper Depot Wien.
He has written many works drawing upon his experiences in a variety of genres.

  1999 he was awarded the Hans Koller Prize for „musician of the year“ in Austria.
He is well known for his often cinematic-sounding cds and for his ability to mix different musical styles.
